Lifeguards treated 19 people for box jellyfish stings at Waikiki Beach this morning as the monthly influx of the stinging creatures continued today.

About 250 jellyfish were found on the beach this morning, according to the ocean safety website. One jellyfish was found at Ala Moana Beach Park, but there were no stings reported.

A box jellyfish advisory was posted for Waikiki and Ala Moana beaches through tonight.
