A fire this morning at Takano Nakamura Landscaping in Pearl City destroyed three golf carts, a car port and a nearby shed, Fire Department spokesman Capt. Terry Seelig said.
The fire was reported in the Lehua Avenue area about 8:20 a.m. and extinguished by 8:32, Seelig said. No one was injured.
Damage was estimated at $20,000 to the structure and $20,000 to the contents.
The fire began when there was an electrical short in one of the golf carts, Seelig said.
