Police arrested a 28-year-old man yesterday after he allegedly lunged at a police officer with a glass bottle in an area closed to foot traffic because of road construction in Hawaii Kai.
Police said the man refused to leave the area near Hawaii Kai Golf Course on Kalanianaole Highway about 11:20 p.m.
After a brief struggle, he was arrested on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening, resisting arrest, obedience to police officers, and second-degree assault on a law enforcement officer.
