Look out for traffic
Traffic between the upper Makapuu Lookout parking lot to Makapuu Beach Park will be contra-flowed from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday to allow the contractor to cut through a rock wall as part of a retaining wall project. Kiewit Pacific Co. will be performing a pre-assessment of the slopes by cutting a pioneering trail through the site to remove potential rockfall hazards.
