Lihue » Kauai Beach Resort is offering kamaaina a four-day "End of Summer Staycation" deal over Labor Day weekend.

The weekend activities include:

» Thursday: An art and wine event featuring original artwork by Patrice Pendarvis from 5:30 to 9 p.m., with wine tastings and appetizers from 6 to 7 p.m. $20 per person for four tastings.

» Friday: Pau Hana Fridays Oceanfest: 5:30 to 7 p.m., free live entertainment at the pool deck, clambake from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Naupaka Terrace. $29.95 per adult, $15 for children 5 to 12 years. Augie T’s "I Was Left Behind" Comedy Tour, 8 p.m. at the Jasmine Ballroom. Tickets $15 pre-sale, $20 at door.

» Sept. 4: Saturday Pool Paina, poolside at Driftwood, casual barbecue menu from noon to 4 p.m. and live music from 1 to 3 p.m. Sirloin and seafood buffet at Naupaka Terrace from 6 to 9 p.m. $39 per adult, $21 for children 5 to 12 years.

» Sept. 5: Endless Summer Pool Bash at Driftwood Bar & Grille, 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., featuring barbecue fare and drink specials, live music from 1 to 6 p.m.
