Police responding to a report of domestic violence last night arrested the 41-year-old girlfriend of a man she had allegedly hit in the head with a metal pot two weeks before.

The 34-year-old boyfriend declined treatment for his injuries he suffered Saturday night and from being hit by the pot on Aug. 21, police said.

Honolulu police officers responding to a 7:45 p.m. call last night found the injured boyfriend and learned that the girlfriend had allegedly fled following the Aug. 21 attack, police said.

A Coral Street woman was arrested last night on suspicion of assault in the second degree and misdemeanor assault on a household or family member.
