Kailua traffic stop leads to ID arrest

A patrol officer who stopped a motorcycle rider in Kailua yesterday discovered credit cards and identity allegedly stolen from a vehicle earlier this month, police said.

The 41-year-old, female motorcycle rider had been stopped for speeding around 3:45 p.m. yesterday, police said. As she looked for identification, the officer saw credits and a Hawaii identity belonging to a 69-year-old woman, police said.

The credit cards and ID were allegedly stolen from a vehicle on Sept. 3, police said.
