Instead of paying back money he owed, a 27-year-old man reached into another man’s car and took a pack of cigarettes and then was arrested in Kaimuki, police said.

Officers arrested the man this morning about 8:30 on suspicion of first-degree unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and second-degree terroristic threatening.

Police said a 52-year-old man asked the younger man for money he owed him, which led to an argument and the suspect threatening to harm the older man. The suspect then reached into the man’s car and took the pack of cigarettes.
