Women in wartime

A celebration of women’s roles during wartime is the theme of the annual Distinctive Women in Hawaiian History Program on Saturday in Waikiki. The program at the Hawaii Convention Center features lectures, traditional Hawaiian storytelling, chants, dramatic performances, film and slam poetry. Holiday craft guide seeks entries

Tis the season for craft fairs, and the Today section is planning a guide with listings for events happening for the winter holiday period.
