Man allegedly caught on tape charged in theft of security cameras

Prosecutors charged a Kalihi man who was allegedly caught on tape stealing security cameras.

Police said Kevin Nakagawa, 39, was being held on $25,000 bail after being charged with second-degree burglary last night.

A business owner looking at security tapes from his new video surveillance system saw a man take two surveillance cameras mounted on the ceiling on Oct. 9, police said.

The man allegedly returned to the business at 1:15 p.m. Saturday and was recognized by a worker and arrested.
