Hawaii sweeps Boise State in volleyball

    UH Rainbow Wahine Brittany Hewitt cranked up for a kill against the Boise State Broncos during the second set of Friday night's match held at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Kanani Danielson put down 15 kills and Brittany Hewitt added 10 as No. 4 Hawaii needed 85 minutes to defeat Boise State 25-15, 25-13, 25-18 in a Western Athletic Conference volleyball match at the Stan Sheriff Center. 

It was the 14th consecutive win for the Rainbow Wahine (20-1, 10-0). Elizabeth Ka’aihue had 20 of Hawaii’s 51 digs and Hewitt and Chanteal Satele both were in on four blocks.

Liz Harden led the Broncos (17-10, 4-7) with six kills.
