The 3-year-old girl who drowned in a Hawaii Kai swimming pool Sunday morning has been identified as Maile Schroeder-Hill by the medical examiner’s office.
Paramedics were called to a Hawaii Kai home after 8 a.m. Sunday. She had been pulled from the water and CPR was being performed, said Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the Emergency Services Department. The girl was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead, he said.
