» Ala Moana: Visit Santa now through Dec. 24. Opens 10 a.m. daily at street level, across from Centerstage. Keiki can also visit Santa’s Menehune Toy Shop by Centerstage. Photo packages starting at $20. Call 955-9517.

» Annual Deaf Santa Celebration: About 120 children share their wish lists in American Sign Language with deaf Santa and his interpreting elves, 9 a.m. to noon on Dec. 9, Pearlridge Uptown, second level near Sephora. Call 488-0981.

» Kahala Mall: Santa arrives on Friday . Visits and photos with Santa, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with breaks from 1 to 2 p.m. and 5 to 6 p.m. Visit for more information or call 732-7736.

» Kapolei Shopping Center: Make-and-take crafts, family activities, sidewalk sales and free photos with Santa, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Dec. 11 at Kapolei Shopping Center. Call 695-4316.

» Pearl Highlands: Santa arrives at 11 a.m. Nov. 27 ; and makes appearances from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Dec. 4, and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Dec. 11 and 18 in the food court. Photos cost $3 for one 4- by 5-inch picture, and $5 for two photos. Bring an unwrapped toy and receive a complimentary photo.

» Pearlridge: Santa’s arrival and parade begins at 8:30 in Uptown and concludes in Downtown by 9 a.m. on Friday . The holiday parade features Santa Claus and the Aiea High School marching band. Visits and photos with Santa, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 3:30 to closing each day through Christmas Eve. Photo packages start at $20. Call 488-0981.

» Photos with Santa Paws: Bring your pets for holiday photos taken with Santa and Mrs. Paws to benefit the Hawaiian Humane Society, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 4 and 5 at Ward Warehouse, ground floor, Ewa end. For a $25 donation, pets can have a photo session which includes a CD with all images that can be taken home that day. Holiday hats, antlers and other accessories for dress up are available. Reservations not required.

» Windward Mall: Santa arrives at 11 a.m. today at Center Court. An appearance by Geoffrey the Giraffe at 10 a.m.; Hawaii State Ballet performance of "The Nutcracker" at 10:30 a.m.; arts and crafts at 11:15 a.m.; and caroling at noon. Call 235-1143.
