Big Island police search for prison escapee

Big Island police are looking for a 23-year-old man who escaped from Hawaii Community Correctional Center on Nov. 10.
Isaiah Santiago of Kona failed to return from a trip to look for work on the evening of Nov. 10.
Police ask that anyone with information on Santiago’s whereabouts call Detective Reed Mahuna at 961-2384 or the Police Department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311.
Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona.
