Kauai gets ready for Lights on Rice Parade
The annual Lights on Rice Parade in Lihue starts at 6 p.m. Friday at Vidinha Stadium, heads down Ho’olako and Rice streets, and ends on ‘Eiwa Street at the county building.
Kauai police will close county streets along the parade route, from about 5:30 to 9 p.m., including – Ho’olako, Hardy, Eiwa and Rice streets, as well as Haleko Road. and Kapule Highway and all feeder roads to Rice Street.
