Alert neighbors helped police arrest a burglary suspect in Mililani last night.
Police said neighbors called 9-1-1 after seeing a strange man enter the back of the Hokulewa Loop home while the owner was away.
Police apprehended a man hiding in the home at about 6:28 p.m. The 66-year-old homeowner arrived home and said she did not know the suspect.
The suspect, a 34-year-old Kalihi man, is being held on suspicion of burglary.
