Second city lights
Kapolei, Oahu’s second city, will get its own City Lights celebration tomorrow with the West Oahu Electric Light Parade at 6 p.m. and treelighting at 7:45 p.m. with Mayor Peter Carlisle. The festivities will begin at 5 p.m. with food booths, free keiki games and entertainment on Uluohia Street, in front of Kapolei Hale, and a fireworks display at dusk. The 40-foot tree at the center of the celebration was donated by Roman and Priscilla Tan of Kalama Valley.
