On Saturday, three men robbed a convenience store on Kalakaua Avenue at about 12:40 p.m. and brandished either a handgun or BB gun, police said.
The men took cash and an employee’s purse and fled in a stolen car, police said.
Another armed robbery was reported Friday when a gunman held up Soon’s Kal-Bi Drive-In at the Salt Lake Shopping Center.
Police said the suspect, a man in his 30s, entered the back of the restaurant at 9:25 p.m. after it closed and pulled out a handgun.
