The man killed in a motorcycle crash on Kauai yesterday was 27-year-old Justin Duque of Hanamaulu, Kauai County officials said this afternoon.
The accident happened about 1:13 a.m. in Hanamaulu on Laukona Street near Ohia Street.
KPD’s Traffic Safety Unit is investigating the accident, and believes excessive speed may have been a factor, the county said. This is Kauai’s first traffic fatality of 2011.
