Kamehameha’s Jessica Johnson, above, vied for the ball with Iolani’s Kylie Takafuji yesterday, but neither team got the edge as the teams played to a 1-1 tie in their Interscholastic League of Honolulu match.

It was the second tie of the season between the rivals after they played to a scoreless draw to open the league season Dec. 7.

Caprice Dydasco scored for the Warriors (4-0-3), who missed a chance to keep pace with Punahou in the league race after the Buffanblu beat Pac-Five 1-0 yesterday on Dani Stollar’s goal.

Punahou sits at 6-0-1 with five games left in the regular season.

Kama Pascua scored for ‘Iolani, who dropped to 4-1-2, with the only loss coming to Punahou earlier this year.

The Raiders get another shot at the Buffanblu on Tuesday. Kamehameha visits Punahou on Jan. 21.
