Board of Water Supply crews this morning completed repairs to a 12-inch water line that broke yesterday morning in Kakaako.

Although the water main was repaired at 9:30 a.m. today, work continues to repair the road on Forrest avenue., which remained closed between Ala Moana Boulevard and Papu Street.

The main break was reported shortly after 3 p.m. yesterday on Forest Avenue opposite of South Street. It temporarily forced the closure of the two inner lanes of the intersection on Ala Moana Blvd., leaving only one lane of traffic open in either direction.

No customers are affected by this water main break.
