Moanalua topples Kalani
Dexter Williams scored 11 of his game-high 22 points in the final quarter as the No. 9 Moanalua Na Menehune broke open a tie game to beat the Kalani Falcons 61-47 yesterday in an Oahu Interscholastic Association Red East boys basketball game at Moanalua gym.
The game was tied at 36 after the first three quarters, but Moanalua outscored Kalani 25-11 in the fourth quarter.
Wesley Armbrust added 14 for Moanalua, which converted nine of 11 free throws in the period.
Tatsuya Ono scored 12 points to lead the Falcons, who took a 15-10 lead after the first period and led 26-22 at halftime.
