High surf warning canceled for Big Island; advisory remains
The National Weather Service has canceled a high surf warning for the Big Island.
A high surf advisory remains in effect for Kauai, Niihau, Oahu and the Big Island until 6 a.m. Tuesday.
For Kauai and Honolulu counties, surf along north-facing shores will be 12 to 16 feet through tonight, and below 15 feet on Tuesday. Surf along west-facing shores will be 6 to 12 feet through tonight, and below 12 feet on Tuesday.
Surf along west-facing shores of the Big Island is expected to be 6 to 10 feet through tonight, and below 8 feet on Tuesday.
