Man arrested for allegedly chasing an acquaintance through store with knife

A man was arrested after allegedly chasing another man through the Don Quijote store on Kaheka Street while brandishing a knife yesterday afternoon.

A man, 25, told police he saw an acquaintance in the store and asked him for money that he owed him. But the other man instead brandished a knife and chased him around the store, police said.

Police were called and the suspect, 25 and of no permanent address, was arrested on suspicion of terroristic threatening. The knife was recovered.
