Fire damages garage workshop in Lanikai
A fire caused $100,000 in damage to a garage workshop in Lanikai late this morning.
Firefighters responded to a blaze on Mokulua Drive at 11:30 a.m. and had the fire under control by 11:47, said fire Capt. Robert Main.
The property owner was home at the time and was alerted of the fire by neighbors, but the garage is not attached to the dwelling and no one was injured, Main said.
The cause is under investigation.
