A 45-year-old Kaneohe man called police after finding out that his 16-year-old son had allegedly stolen $300 from him and finding marijuana in his son’s room, police said.

The man noticed the money missing from his bedroom on Saturday, police said. Yesterday, police said the man found out his son had taken the money. The man also discovered Ziplock baggies containing marijuana in his son’s bedroom.

Police were called and the teenager was arrested and then released pending further investigation.
