Big Island woman gets 10 years for molesting teens
HONOLULU » A Big Island woman has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for sexually molesting three teenage girls.
Raysean Paglinawan was sentenced Wednesday by Circuit Judge Glenn Hara to 10 years for two second-degree sex assault charges and five years for a third-degree sex assault count. The sentences are to be served concurrently.
According to the Hawaii Tribune-Herald, the 24-year-old Naalehu woman had previously pleaded no contest to the second-degree counts and guilty to the third-degree charge.
The victims, two of them sisters, attended Paglinawan’s hip-hop dance class. All three were under the age of 14. Court documents say the offenses occurred between 2004 and 2007.
