A 30-year-old Waipahu man who allegedly tried to rob an adult video store in Kaimuki was charged today with robbery.

Jensen Reese, of Awaiki Street, demanded money from the employee at Kaimuki Video on Waialae Avenue about 10:30 a.m. Friday, police said.

A second unknown man in his 20s pointed a handgun at the woman.

The two robbers fled in a waiting vehicle when an alarm was sounded. The second robber remains at large.

Police arrested Reese yesterday at the main police station. He was charged at 5:50 p.m. today with second-degree robbery and released after posting $40,000 bail.
