Puna man sought in Big Island police investigations

Big Island police are requesting the public’s help to find a 32-year-old Puna man for questioning in connection with investigations of a recent sexual assault and a marijuana-growing operation.

Oran C. Kita is last known to have lived in the Hawaiian Paradise Park subdivision. He is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, 165 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, a slim build and a fair to lightly-tanned complexion.

Anyone with information on Kita’s whereabouts is asked to call the Police Department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311.

Those who wish to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona.
