The Oahu Choral Society will honor John McCreary for his contributions to the arts at its Vivace! silent auction and banquet, 6 p.m. tomorrow at Honolulu Country Club. McCreary, 79, was the organist at St. Andrew’s Cathedral for many years, providing music for visiting U.S. presidents, composing choral works, and playing organs around the world.
