Suspect, loss prevention agents injured in alleged Waikiki robbery
A suspected Waikiki shoplifter and the loss prevention agents who stopped him were all injured when the 47-year-old suspect tried to get away last night, police said.
The loss prevention agents declined medical treatment and the suspect was treated at a nearby hospital, police said.
He allegedly shoplifted an item from the business around 9:30 p.m. then used physical force against the loss prevention agents who detained him, police said.
The suspect was arrested at the scene for investigation of second-degree robbery and two contempt warrants.
