The University of Hawaii announced today that tomorrow night’s CollegeInsider.com postseason tournament basketball opener will be shown on Oceanic-Time Warner cable.

The announcement came after $51,800 in ticket revenue was taken in by 4 p.m. Along with the $7,500 Oceanic bid, UH has already surpassed the $58,000 it said it needed to break even on hosting the event.

UH plays the University of Portland with the winner advancing in the 24-team tournament. UH has been told to be ready for the possibility of hosting a Friday second-round game should it defeat the Pilots tomorrow night.
