Man dies in Honolulu District Court cellblock
A 59-year-old prisoner died while in state sheriffs custody, apparently of a medical condition, police said.
Deputy sheriffs found the man unresponsive at about noonThursday at the Honolulu District Court cell block, where prisoners await their court appearance.
Attempts to revive the man were unsuccessful. Police said no foul play was suspected. An autopsy will be done on Monday.
