Fullerton beats Rainbows 3-0
Noe Ramirez pitched eight innings of two-hit ball to lead Cal State Fullerton past Hawaii 3-0 in a college baseball game Friday at Les Murakami Stadium.
The Titans climbed to 13-8. The Rainbows, who had back-to-back singles by Zach Swasey and Michael Blake, fell to 11-10.
Ramirez improved to 4-2.
Nick Ramirez pitched a perfect ninth to earn his fourth save.
Fullerton scored twice in the fourth and once in the fifth off UH starter Matt Sisto, who fell to 1-3.
Only one of the runs was earned. Anthony Trajano and Blake Barber paired hits for the Titans and each drove in a run. Michael Lorenzen also drove in a run.
