Roommate arrested for alleged robbery of 79-year-old man
A 79-year-old man told police that a 36-year-old man staying at his Victoria Street apartment threatened him with a knife and stole his bank card and mobile phone.
Police said the suspect and his girlfriend held against his will at the apartment on April 1 at about 9:45 a.m., then left a few hours later.
The victim called police when the suspect returned last night to the apartment, where the suspect was arrested on suspicion of robbery and kidnapping.
