A Guam man has pleaded guilty to stabbing his fishing partner to death during a drunken fight in 2009.

The Guam Pacific Daily News reported today David Asuncion pleaded guilty in the August 2009 murder of 28-year-old Oscar Untalan Garcia.

The two men had spent the day fishing and drinking alcohol. They began to argue while hanging out near Asuncion’s mother’s house in Dededo, Guam.

Asuncion is expected to be sentenced to life in prison.
