Police hunt for Waipahu liquor store robbers

Police are looking for two men who robbed Central Liquors in Waipahu around noon Wednesday.

Two men entered the liquor store at 94-210 Leokane St. at 12:04 p.m. and demanded money. One of them brandished a handgun.

The men fled toward Kamehameha Highway in a compact car.

The first man is believed to be in his 30s, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall, about 250 pounds and having black hair. He was wearing a blue T-shirt, long blue denim pants and black shoes.

The other suspect is believed to in his 20s, between 5 feet 10 inches and 5 feet 11 inches tall, between 160 and 180 pounds and having dark blond hair. He was wearing a blue-hooded sweat shirt, blue denim shorts and slippers.
