Bystanders stopped a 60-year-old man from threatening another man with a handgun in Kalaeloa, police said.

The younger man, 34, got into an argument with the older man over some items missing from his home about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

During the dispute, the older man threatened the other man with a baseball, but eventually left, police said.

Later, he approached the younger man with a revolver and pointed it at the man’s head, police said. Bystanders took the gun away and called police. Officers arrested the man for investigation of two counts of terroristic threatening.
