State revenue forecast unchanged
The state Council on Revenues left unchanged its forecasts for the current and upcoming fiscal years.
Based off its forecast from March 29, the Council predicts a revenue decline of 1.6 percent in the fiscal year that ends June 30, with a rebound to 11 percent growth in the next fiscal year.
The static forecast means the Legislature likely will not have to come back in special session to tweak the $11 billion and $10.9 billion budgets approved earlier this month for the next two fiscal years.
