One man was cut on the arm during a knife fight Saturday at Mililani Presbyterian Church.

A caller reported two men fighting at the church at 95-410 Kuahelani Ave. at 2:44 p.m., police said.

One man attacked the other man with a knife, using a slashing-type motion, initial dispatch reports said.

The 27-year-old man tried to block the attack with his left arm and sustained a deep gash, about an inch-and-a-half long, to his outer wrist, the reports said.

Paramedics took the man to the Queen’s Medical Center.

Police said officers detained a man in connection with the stabbing.
