An argument between two men in Wahiawa escalated into a fight early Sunday involving a dangerous instrument, police said.

Officers arrested a 29-year-old man with no local address for second-degree assault after he allegedly struck a 38-year-old man with a dangerous instrument, causing bodily injury, police said.  

Police did not release information on what the man was struck with and did not give the victim’s condition.

Officers arrested the suspect on Wilikina Drive at about 12:53 a.m. for suspicion of second-degree assault.
