Town and Downtown chef Ed Kenney was one of 16 chefs nationwide honored at Monterey Bay Aquarium’s "Cooking for Solutions 2011" last month for his commitment to serving and educating diners about sustainable seafood. Kenney was named a "Seafood Watch Ambassador" at the 10th-annual, three-day event held in Monterey, Calif., that featured sustainable cuisine. The chef has been a tireless advocate for local agriculture and Hawaii food security.
