Liquor panel fines Dave and Buster’s, others

The Honolulu Liquor Commission fined several bars and suspended the license of one restaurant Thursday for alcohol violations.

Dave and Buster’s at Ward Entertainment Center was hit with a $2,000 fine for a second violation of serving alcohol to a minor within two years.

Little Seoul pleaded no contest to allowing customers to drink after hours on Feb. 11. Liquor investigators found customers with liquid in red plastic cups at 2:37 a.m. The owner claimed through a translator that she didn’t know the customers brought the alcohol into the Sheridan Street restaurant. The commission fined the bar $1,120 for its third violation of serving alcohol after hours within two years.

All Star Lounge, on Kapiolani Boulevard, was fined $1,020 for allowing drinking after hours.

The commission also suspended the license of the Alley Restaurant and Bar at Aiea Bowl for three days. The restaurant pleaded no contest to serving alcohol to someone under the age of 21 in January, its third offense in two years. The commission also placed the restaurant on probation for three months.
