Big Island police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 61-year-old Volcano man who left his home at about 1 p.m. today for his daily walk.

Walter K. Victor was last seen in the Royal Hawaiian Estates area of Volcano.

He is described as Polynesian, 5-foot-11, weighing 185 to 230 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with Hawaiian flag logos, front and back, blue jeans and hiking boots.

Victor has a medical condition that may require medication.

Police and fire personnel are searching on the ground and air. 

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call police at 935-3311.
