Man nearly drowns apparently trying to help a child at Kailua Beach
A 28-year-old man was in serious condition after a near-drowning incident at Kailua Beach Park Sunday night.
Initial reports indicated the man may have been attempting to help a child in distress. He was taken to a local hospital by Emergency Medical Services.
