All Honolulu-bound lanes of the H-3 Freeway from Likelike Highway to the Halawa Interchange will be closed for pavement maintenance work from 7 p.m. today to 4 a.m., Wednesday, the state Department of Transportation announced.

Motorists are advised to use Likelike Highway or Pali Highway during that time. Electronic message boards will notify motorists of the closures.

Motorists are advised to use caution when driving through this area and to allow for extra travel time. Road work is weather permitting.
