Boise State picked to win Mountain West football title
After winning or sharing eight of the last nine Western Athletic Conference football championships, Boise State has been picked to take the Mountain West Conference in its inaugural season.
The Broncos received 28 of 31 first place votes cast by the MWC media, it was announced today in Las Vegas where the conference is holding its annual media days events.
Defending champion Texas Christian, Air Force, San Diego State, Colorado State, Wyoming, Nevada-Las Vegas and New Mexico rounded out the poll.
All but TCU will be in the MWC in 2012 when Hawaii, Nevada and Fresno State join to make it a 10-member football conference.
