Former Hawaii receivers Greg Salas and Kealoha Pilares have reached contract agreements with the St. Louis Rams and the Carolina Panthers, respectively.
Pilares will receive a guaranteed signing bonus of around $215,000, his agent, Wynn Silberman, said.
If he makes the team, the fifth-round pick will get the new standard $375,000 rookie salary, plus escalators. The total value of the four-year deal could reach close to $2.6 million, Silberman said.
Pilares is expected to report to the team today, Silberman said.
Salas’ agreement was reported by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. He was a fourth-round pick. Terms were not revealed.
