Poverty drags kids down

CTY KIDS COUNT - 16 August 2011- (The spelling of all of these name ARE correct despite the irregularities) Single mother Mildred Kalaluhi sat in the living room of her Makiki apartment with three of her four children. Kalaluhi moved into the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg transitional housing unit with the help of Catholic Charities earlier this year and is trying to make ends meet through a 20 hour a week job and various aid programs.
