Matson decreasing fuel surcharge
Matson Navigation Co. will lower its fuel surcharge by two percentage points for its service in Hawaii, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands and Micronesia effective Aug. 28.
The ocean shipper cited recent declines in bunker fuel prices for its decision.
The decrease will save shippers from $60 to $105 per container, the company estimates.
